Department Introduction
There are 1 chief physician and 2 deputy chief physicians in vascular surgery, 18 open beds. The average number of discharged patients is about 1100-1200 per year. There are 600-800 routine operations and more than 100 interventional operations per year. Mainly diagnosis and treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection, Budd-Chiari syndrome, body surface and extremity hemangioma, body surface and extremity lymphatic infection, lymphedema, deep and superficial vein thrombosis of extremities, superficial varicose veins of lower extremities (commonly known as "earthworm leg", "old rotten leg"), atherosclerotic occlusion of extremities, visceral and extremity arterial embolism and other common multiple diseases.
Departments routinely carry out characteristic examinations, including arteriovenography of lower extremities, routinely carry out various minimally invasive and interventional operations, including Trivex rotary knife, sclerosing agent and laser combined surgery for minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins of lower extremities; vasculogenic limb salvage treatment, including PTA + Stent stent implantation of lower extremity arteries, autologous blood vessels, artificial blood vessels bypass for the treatment of atherosclerotic occlusion of lower extremities; Intravenous catheter thrombolysis, inferior vena cava filter implantation to prevent lethal pulmonary embolism, thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm (dissection) and endovascular isolation therapy.
The department pays attention to scientific research work.In recent years, the departments have presided over eight provincial and municipal scientific research projects and won many provincial and municipal prizes for scientific and technological progress. More than 20 papers have been published in international journals and Chinese magazines, including 3 in SCI. Wrote 3 books. In 2017, Liaocheng Medical Association's Professional Committee on Vascular Surgery was established, and the first Jiangbei Shuicheng Forum on Vascular Surgery was successfully held.
